The trip to Ladakh is a once in a lifetime experience. A trip through the lunar landscape often referred to as "Little Tibet". A self supported rafting trip which will pass through the steep gorges created by the mighty Zanskar river, over countless years of past. This is a truly, must-experience kind of trip. The journey on the Zanskar takes you through the Xanskar gorge referred to as the "Grand Canyon" of Asia through grade II and grade IV rapids

The trip begins with a flight over the Himalayas into the Trans-Himalayan region of Ladakh. We spend a couple of days in Leh town acclimatizing and visiting the ancient monasteries, palaces around Leh. We then drive west of Leh past the town of Kargil and travel south into the valley of Zanskar, one of the coldest inhabited places on earth.

The trip takes you down the extremely desolate, remote and sheer Zanskar gorge with walls rising a few thousand feet out of the river bed, culminating on the mighty Indus river
